SONS OF MEZCAL JÍCARAS- SET OF 2-MADE IN OAXACA
$20.00
Jícara comes from the Nahuatl word "Xicalli", meaning “a container made from a fruit.” In México, the dried shell of this fruit from the Crescentia Cujete tree dates back to prehispanic times. The jícara is used as a drinking vessel for traditional beverages such as hot chocolate, pulque and of course, mezcal.
The Sons of Mezcal jícaras were handmade by a local artist outside of Oaxaca City. Each set of jícaras posses unique touches, making each one slightly different and special from one another.
Washing instructions: Gently hand wash with only warm water, then air dry. Not dishwasher safe.
